QEST Infrastructure was recently engaged to carry out a groundwater pump test to support the planning of an upcoming wetland development project.
The goal of the test was to help determine whether the local groundwater supply could reliably meet the long-term water needs of the future wetland. A clear understanding of the aquifer’s capacity is a key part of assessing whether the project is viable.
We mobilised a Grundfos submersible pump on site, fitted with a PLC-controlled data logging system. This allowed us to automatically record flow rates and groundwater levels at regular intervals throughout the test, exactly as specified by the client.
Once the test was complete, we compiled the data and provided it in a clear format to support the project’s ongoing hydrogeological assessment.
This job is a great example of how QEST supports environmentally focused projects with reliable, high-quality field testing. Our team brings the right equipment, technical expertise, and attention to detail to help clients make informed decisions about water resources and project feasibility.
